Jennifer Verhey CPA USTCP

I love helping clients pursue their dreams.  No matter what your dream is, good accounting and tax planning are keys to success.  I enjoy helping clients learn, understand and apply those keys.

Biography:

Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in Business Administration.  After a very short position at the IRS, Jennifer realized she enjoyed tax work and went back to school to obtain the required accounting education to obtain her CPA license.  In 2015, Jennifer was admitted to the United States Tax Court bar as a non-attorney after passing the tax court’s rigorous exam.

Jennifer is a licensed Real Estate Broker in both South Dakota and Colorado.

Before founding Vantage CPA, Jennifer worked for H&R Block preparing taxes and teaching tax classes.  She has continued to help other tax professionals deepen their knowledge by having served as a discussion leader for the National Tax Practice Institute and teaching tax classes for CoSEA.

During the summer, Jennifer can be found at the Sturgis View Campground in Sturgis, SD where her and her husband are living their dream of owning and operating a campground.

Jodi 

Jodi is originally from NJ where she received her BS degree in Environmental Science from Rutgers
University. After spending 10 years working in the hazardous waste management field for the State of NJ and then later in private consulting, Jodi got married and moved to SD. With this new chapter in life, Jodi returned to school for the next 3 years in CO to study Herbal Therapeutics and Nutrition at the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies, where she received certification as a Clinical Herbalist. Immediately following, she began a master’s degree program in Human Nutrition at the Nutrition Institute, University of Bridgeport, CT. Jodi has utilized her master’s degree and herbal certification for the last 20 years in the health field through private practice, education and customer service.
Jodi has now joined the Vantage CPA team, assisting with various tasks during tax season.
